Allegheny 1000-Series Shredders

The large feed tables and extra-wide
feed openings of the 1000-Series Shredders increase throughput by
allowing multiple operators to feed material simultaneously. However,
to save on labor costs, we recommend using the Allegheny
Auto-Feed Systems that allows 1 operator to do the work of 2
or 3.
These rugged, high-volume machines
provide secure, on-site destruction of all types of confidential
materials - from wastebin contents, entire cases of microfilm (reels
and all) and audio/video cassettes to computer printouts, files
and reports by the ton!

An extra-wide input conveyor and all-steel crusher
paddle allow you to shred corrugated boxes, beverage containers,
and other wastebin contents without having to flatten or sort
them.

Durable, sawtooth cutters are made of A-2 tool
steel or Allegheny's highest-impact resistant T-18 tool steel.
The cutters easily shred thick stacks of paper, computer disks,
microfiche, microfilm (reels and all), mylar sheets, 3-ring
binders full of paper and even steel-belted tires!

Driven by a powerful Lincoln motor and base-mounted
General Transmission gear reducer, the Allegheny 1000-Series
drive train provides years of trouble-free operation, even under
the most demanding conditions.
