To assist in moving materials to the input conveyor of your paper
shredder, Allegheny offers optional conveyors:
- Sorting Conveyors
Allow several operators to separate materials by grade and
type prior to shredding, thus maximizing the value of your recycled
paper.
- In-Floor Conveyors
Allow operators or a front-end loader to push materials
into the shredder without lifting.
- Metering Conveyors
Automatically control the amount of material moving to the
cutting assembly. This helps minimize jams and optimize throughput.

Used with a loading cart, security cabinet, or a Gaylord
container, a hydraulic loading system offers an efficient
way to load material onto your shredder's input conveyor.
This increases throughput of material to be shredded and minimizes
operator fatigue and strain. |

We offer a range of security cabinets suitable for offices,
departments, or for each floor of your building.
These attractive cabinets serve as portable collection units
for secure storage of confidential materials prior to shredding.
The cabinets are fabricated from 14 gauge steel. Each unit
features a one-way input chute for ease in depositing confidential
materials. The large access door for removal of materials
is equipped with a recessed key-locked handle for optimum
security.
For ease in transporting the security cabinets to your centralized
shredding system, all units have heavy-duty rubber wheel casters,
recessed bar handles, and bumper guards.

Output Conveyors
Allegheny conveyor-fed shredders can be equipped with an
output conveyor for transporting shredded materials into a
baler, compactor, dumpster, or other receptacle. We can provide
you with a standard bolt-on output conveyor, or we can build
an output conveyor to your specifications (bolt-on or roll-away).
