Allegheny Tippers offer an efficient way to load material onto your shredder’s input conveyor. Used with a loading cart, security container, drum, or Gaylord box, our tippers will increase your throughput volume by allowing the operator to provide a consistent, even flow of paper into the shredder. They also eliminate back strain and fatigue resulting from repetitive lifting of materials.

Allegheny offers two categories of tippers: The 880 Tipper is most often used for smaller volumes of material, while the HLS Tipper is recommended for high volume shredding applications.

The 880 Tipper accompanies an Allegheny 16-Series or 100-Series Shredder. It can accommodate 64- through 96-gallon security containers and 55-gallon drums. The HLS Tipper was designed to accompany a new or existing Allegheny 100-Series or 1000-Series Shredder, or an Allegheny Auto-Feed™ system. It can accommodate up to two 64- through 96-gallon security containers at a time, 55-gallon drums, loading carts, or Gaylord boxes.

All Allegheny tippers are operator-controlled with a momentary selector switch that allows Power-up/Gravity-down operation. This allows the operator to control the amount of material loaded onto the feed table for faster processing and maximum throughput.
